Few people expected her to win. "I feel incredibly good. I can hardly believe that I won. Many others also did not expect me to do so well and that makes the victory even sweeter." said Margret Edda about the victory.
Trains with the best.
"I train at a club called Einherjar in Grafarholt [Reykjavik] where many of the best Icelandic competitors train, and my trainers are Bjorn Thorleifsson and Sigursteinn Snorrason who are among the best trainers of the country" added Margret Edda.
Margret Edda has won gold or silver in every Taekwondo championship competition that she has participated in, in Iceland. The last time she won the gold was in 2006, but she recently returned to the sport from a four year break. She started training again early this year.
Margret Edda has achieved great success in fitness but she landed in 3rd place in the IFBB Reykjavik Cup 2011 Bikini, 4th place in the Arnold Classic Bikini D Class 2012 and second place in the IFBB Icelandic Championship 2012 Bikini
